About
15 years of experience in developing regulatory landscapes in Congress, Executive agencies and the private sector.
I lead the emerging technologies and data policy government relations practice at Forbes Tate Partners, a leading public affairs firm based in Washington, DC. I bring nearly two decades of experience in Congress, the Treasury Department, and the private sector. I have a strong understanding of developing regulatory and legal landscapes and strategic partnerships across an array of policy issues, including emerging technologies, financial services, and tax.
I’ve served in executive roles at a Fortune 100 financial institution, overseeing the company’s regulatory exam strategy; risk assessment function modernization; and policies, standards, and procedures; as well as financial management, operations, and partnership management across the U.S. and abroad.
I previously served within the U.S. Treasury Department as Chief of Staff to the Office of Tax Policy and senior advisor to the Office of Legislative Affairs.
I also served as senior policy advisor to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Congressman Xavier Becerra, helping to manage the prioritization and development of major tax, financial, and economic legislation.
I hold a J.D. from UCLA School of Law, a B.A. from Smith College, and CIPP/US and CIPM certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). I speak and publish regularly on federal developments in emerging technologies and data policy.
